Volunteerism

The most important component of democracy is civil participation, which requires awareness and a means of involvement. We believe this process requires well-functioning nonprofit organizations.

As a part of its mission, Friends of Anatolia supports nonprofit organizations to increase the civil awareness, philanthropy, and volunteerism in Turkey and among Turks in other countries.

Well-functioning nonprofits play a vital role in the best practice of democracy. Therefore, we are planning to offer conditional grants to local nonprofit organizations, publish a philanthropy magazine to support the philanthropic organizations and individuals in the U.S. and in Turkey.
