Support for Education Dinner and Dance
Friends of Anatolia organized
its 2nd Annual Support for Education dinner in Sunnyvale
on May 20, 2006.
Eighty guests attended to
this fun night, which was organized to raise funds for
our school
projects in Turkey.
Among the highlights of the dinner, there
were the Fashion Show by Sibel Giftgi and Ulku Nisan, Salsa
Dance Show by Stanford University students, flamenco dance
show
by Koko
de la Isla,
guitar
performance
by our Vice-President Tugsan Topcuoglu, and DJ performance
by Ali Tosun of Cemali.

For dinner and dance: $55 per person, $45 for students. For
dance only (after 10pm): $30 per person, $25 for students.

Program:
7:00pm -- social hour
7:45pm -- short presentation about Friends of Anatolia followed by buffet dinner
8:30pm -- dance (flamenco by Koko de la Isla, salsa by Stanford students) and
music

9:00pm -- fashion show featuring designs of Ulku Nisanoglu and Sibel Giftgi,
modeled by volunteer Stanford students
9:30pm –- closing remarks and drawings.
