Rebecca TSENG SMITH: Rebecca is the Associate Director for External Affairs in Stanford University's School of Education. She has worked in the field of university advancement for over 20 years at Cornell University, Harvard University and Stanford.

Her passion is connecting philanthropists with deserving projects which inspire their gifts and involvement. Rebecca grew up in Florida, one of five children and the daughter of a Methodist minister. She attended Boston University for her B.A. in English Literature and a Masters of Theological Studies.

Rebecca is married to Tom Smith Tseng, who is also a fundraiser for Stanford, and together they take care of a wonderful cat named Madeleine. Her other interests include her church, music, movies, books, and making things out of paper.

To contribute to peace and democracy by encouraging the growth of Turkish civil society.

MISSION

To strengthen community participation by supporting education, promoting volunteerism and philanthropy, and fostering cultural exchange.
