Mehmet BETIL: Mehmet is one of the most respected and innovative businessmen in Turkey as well as being a strong voice for the disadvantaged people. A long time supporter of Anatolian Artisans in the US and Community Volunteers Foundation in Turkey.

He was born in Istanbul in 1941 and graduated from Robert College in 1960. He worked as an economist at the Turkish Industrial Development Bank from 1967 to 1987.

His researchs on investment projects are published in a newspaper from 1975 thru 1987. Mehmet retired in 1987 and founded a new company, Karma A.S., the same year. He was also one of the founders of TOG (Commnity Volunteers Foundation).

To strengthen community participation by supporting education, promoting volunteerism and philanthropy, and fostering cultural exchange.
