Advisory Council

Cagla EROGLU: Cagla is a postdoctoral fellow in the Stanford University Neurobiology Department. Being the oldest of this lot, she was born in 1974 in Ankara, Turkey.

She lived and studied there until she finished her Master of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics in Bilkent University. She then moved to Heidelberg, Germany and did a Ph.D. at the European Molecular Biology Laboratories. In 2003, she moved to the USA with Michel and started her research at Stanford.

She joined Friends of Anatolia because she sees the need and potential for change in Turkey and she prefers to take a positive stand and contribute. She served as a board member of Friends of Anatolia in 2005.

 

VISION

To contribute to peace and democracy by encouraging the growth of Turkish civil society.

 

MISSION

To strengthen community participation by supporting education, promoting volunteerism and philanthropy, and fostering cultural exchange.
