Volunteer Center

Friends of Anatolia has leased 1,000 sq. ft. of space for a two year term in downtown Mountain View on the main downtown thoroughfare, Castro Street, in a pleasant area, with high pedestrian traffic, close to several Turkish owned restaurants. It also had easy access to freeways and trains. In addition, a below market value lease by a highly supportive landlord has made this an opportunity not to be missed.

It was within the radar and limits of both community foundations (Peninsula and Silicon Valley) which are considered potential funders. It was also close to Stanford University where Friends of Anatolia enjoys valuable contacts and has access to the university resources.

After operating for 15 months, Volunteer Center has closed its doors in December 2006.
